The art work of Pablo Picasso has been taken down, and now in its place is the striking work of Salvador Dali. Extra social studies credit to the first student to give me a brief biography on this abstract artist.
EXTRA EXTRA CREDIT IF YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK THIS PAINTING MEANS. IT IS CALLED: "The Dream" (Dali, 1935)

i Think that this is a mask that is going around bringing ever body down and they finnaly got it.
it looks like a man in pain with needles in his mouth face and eyes.
I think that he was in much pain and his dreams were crushed and he felf as if he were laying on needles. If this isn't right then I don't know what this means.
I think it mean like he was contradicted bt his unreal dream space depicted and by the strangely hallucinatory character of his imagery
tome this means that your dreams can come true but u got to beleive and in my head it seems thathe tryed his dream but whatever it was he got rejected
I think this picture means that he has alot of broken dreams, and the mask respents the dreams that he is trying to hold on to
i think the dream tells a story about abuot someone with hallucinations struggling and trying to break free and maybe they couldn't hold on to the dream they wanted most to keep.times for them were tough and they eventually they broke down with pain
Well, I think it is a picture of a person dreaming. The place they are in is a dream world. Look at the face, their eyes are closed, and their body is being held up by sticks. Those sticks are fragile and not that sturdy. Any thing that bumps into those sticks are going to drop the body-less head to the ground. This part is the fragileness of sleep. When you are sleep, there are many things that can wake you up. If his eyes open, then he will no longer be awake in the dream-world but awake in the real world.
i want to know where you learned abut pablo pacasso because i know him too.
